An individual has

not started living

until he can rise

above the narrow confines of his individualistic

concerns to the

broader concerns

of all humanity.

Our organizational focus is our mission and commitment to serve, to become a respected and visible catalyst for change, and reach our set goals for this program.  Our vision is to secure adequate funding for program expansion of services for inmates and their families.  We will serve the State of Florida's Prison population with a concentration in the North Florida Region.  Currently our program has served more than 500 inmates.  Our services are available to all those that seek our assistance.

We see positive changes in the lives of inmates; this program brings hope and plays a major role in reducing recidivism.  We help build self-esteem so that when these inmates' are released, they will emerge with a  new self image and positive attitude to continue to use lessons learned from this program and their talents.

We hope to showcase inmates' artistic skill, imagination and talent through their artwork and to provide workshops and other job training opportunities for inmates.  We provide contact information of local agencies, educational institutions, and service providers.

We have been able to accomplish some goals due to receiving private donations from friends and family, but now we are seeking other potential contributors to expand our work and mission.  Current funds are used to supply inmates with some personal hygiene items, resource material, group visits, and bible study sessions.

Due to lack of funding and limited resources, presently we're not able to fully implement the program to its full potential.  Private donations and alliances with reputable companies that will help through their donations will secure the program funds necessary to meet our goals.

   Our Goals and Strategies

We are in the early stages of development and transition of this program, but feel it will be well worthwhile.  Our aspiration is to expand so we can serve more inmates and their families.  We are very optimistic towards future gains and accomplishments.
